The Association for Educational, Cultural and Sports Action - Janela das Brincadeiras was founded on November 7, 2014.
It was born from the will of a group of technicians linked to non-formal education and, since then, has had a sustained growth in numerous projects and activities, having citizenship and independence as its principles.
We work with children, youth, adults and seniors, regionally, nationally and internationally as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and Non-Profit Association.
Among the multiple activities and projects, every year JdB organizes Holiday Camps, Training for youth and adults, Family Support Component Management, Extracurricular Activities and more recently, the exploration of Tourism Animation.
It is registered at the Portuguese Youth Institute - IPDJ under nº 224/DRLVT of 20/05/2014 and at the Erasmus National Agency.

COOPERATION
WITH VOLUNTEERS
The Association works with numerous volunteers through, for example, the collaboration as a training entity of the Municipal Program, Young Sintra Volunteers.
From this training, coordinated by the Youth Division of the Sintra Municipal Chamber, emerge the young trainees who later do volunteer work in places such as the municipality's beaches, the historical center, at CP - Tourism and the Sintra Mountains, etc.
WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
One of our pillars is the cooperation with national and international organizations, with the purpose of carrying out several projects with partners all over the world, deepening our knowledge and sharing ideas and concepts.
WITH INSTITUTIONS
We work with local, regional authorities to benefit local communities and strengthen institutional cooperation.
A link was also built at a European level in order to develop projects, training, internships, and exchanges.
WITH COMPANIES AND EXPERTS
In order to our trainees have the opportunity to develop certain skills, the cooperation with some companies is very important. We value expertise, we want to pass it on and improve our skills
