The STEP project - Supporting Training and Distance Education in Prison - aims to support and enhance the use of digital tools and distance learning in prisons. To succeed in this goal, we believe it is necessary to support educators and prison staff in acquiring adequate skills to implement these tools.

With the STEP project, a comparative research was conducted between at least 4 European countries, proposing short career paths in each penitentiary institution and monitoring the methods of organization and management of these paths.
